The Maker Program at Bruce Guadalupe Middle School in Milwaukee, WI teaches a variety of principles not covered by traditional classes. The content of the course is in a constant state of evolution, but revolves around the simple principle of making things. Integrated skills come from a variety of fields, focusing primarily on engineering, design thinking, problem solving skills, applied science and mathmatics, and technology. The class considers what skills will be relevant for students as they approach high school, as well as what will benefit them in the long term.
